McFarland SC is pleased to announce that we are joining Forward Madison FC's youth partnership program. As part of this partnership we will be able to offer enhanced training and identification opportunities for some of our most committed and promising players at the U11-U19 ages.
The mission of this partnership is to cultivate a thriving ecosystem of partner clubs through transparent collaboration, unified development philosophies, and a steadfast commitment to prioritizing the holistic growth and best interests of young players, fostering their potential both on and off the field.
For instance, our coaches will identify our elite U11 and U12 players who will be able to attend "developmental centers" periodically throughout the year where they will work with Forward Madison FC staff, as well as compete with/against other high level players from the other partner clubs.
In addition to the developmental centers, Forward Madison FC staff will also come out to McFarland twice in the fall and twice in the spring to work with our U11 and U12 teams and coaches to provide quality training and instruction to both the players and our coaches.
And as we try to give our most experienced players the exposure to higher levels of competition than McFarland SC can typically offer, McFarland SC will work at identifying and recommending specific players who should try out for Forward Madison FC's U13-U19 Select teams that will play in the Elite Academy League. Forward's Select teams also train with and get exposure to Forward's Academy teams that play in MLS Next2

How much will this cost?
The only cost associated with this is for those players who are nominated and attend the Developmental Centers, and they will pay a nominal fee for each time they attend the Center.
What opportunities exist for girls?
Girls will be able to tryout for Forward FC's U13-U19 tryout teams that will play in WYSA's State league, or in regional leagues associated with US Youth Soccer.
