Children in grades 3-8 play in this league. Teams in this league play other Madison-area teams. Goalkeepers are used in this league. U-9 through U-14 ages
There are 8 games scheduled in the fall season and 8 games scheduled in the spring season. Half of the games each season are at William McFarland Park; half of them are away games (for directions to the away fields click here). Practices are scheduled by the coach, generally one a week. The time of the practice is determined by the coach.

There is a $15 charge for the club uniform. The uniform consists of a jersey, shorts and socks.
Checks should be made payable to: McFarland Soccer Association.
Refunds will be offered when:
- the
child moves out of the McFarland area
- there is not an age appropriate team available and your child does
not want to play up at the next level
- your child signs up during registration week, then tries out for a
select team and makes it on that team. Proof required and it must be
submitted by August 1 prior to the start of the season paid for at
registration.
Refunds
will not be offered when:
- your child changes their mind part way through the season
- your child is not able to play due to an injury
A club uniform will be provided for teams in 3rd grade and up (U-9 through U-14). It includes a jersey, shorts and socks. All kids are responsible for coming to games with soccer cleats and shin guards.
There are 3 different ball sizes in soccer. They are numbered 3, 4 and 5. A #3 should be used by kids from U-6 through U-8 (K-2nd grade). A #4 should be used by kids from U-9 through U-12 (3rd through 6th grade) and a #5 should be used by U-13 and up (7th and older).
